Q: Will the Noah Shooting Aid work in any gym?
A: Yes, we believe the Noah Instant will work for almost any court situation. We have 5 different focal length cameras to accommodate everything from a small private home court (close) to a field house with a track between the court and the nearest perpendicular wall (far). With a few measurements, we can confirm that a Noah system will work in your situation. Call Rick Turk at 254-535-4564 to discuss your court layout.
Q: Can we use our own laptop?
A: Without exception, all Noah systems include a Dell laptop that has been ordered specifically to accommodate the special needs of the Noah system.
Q: Do you have to move the system to track different types of shots?
A: No. Once the Noah system is calibrated for a particular basket, you can shoot free throws, mid range jump shots, and three point shots, from that Noah system.
Q: Is there an upcharge for the MyNoah App or Community Website.
A: No. The MyNoah app is free for all users and works with the Noah Instant system. It can be downloaded for most Apple and Android smart phones and tablets. The community website where you can view all sessions shot on a Noah Instant system, is free for all Noah Instant users. You can track your progress and view local, state, and national leaderboards, by team, age, gender, etc.
Q: Will the Noah system work with a rebounding system like the Gun or Dr. Dish?
A: Yes. The net on the Gun or Dr. Dish will not interfere with Noah’s ability to track the shot and give accurate Instant Verbal Feedback to the shooter. This will make sure the shooter does not develop the habit of shooting too high because of the height of the net on the Gun or Dr. Dish. Noah, together with either of these two systems will give the shooter the ability to go in the gym by themselves without a rebounder and get high reps with Noah Instant Feedback on every shot.
Q: Does a Noah Shooting Aid come with a warranty?
A: Noah systems come with a one year warranty on all components of the Noah system. The system is designed to last a very long time. If for any reason at some point in the future, one of the components failed, (camera, speaker, router, fan, laptop) beyond the warranty period, you could replace that component by contacting Noah. The most expensive component would be the Dell laptop, and at this time, can be replaced with new software for $600. All other components are less.
Q: How would I be trained on how to use the system?
A: The system is a very simple “point and click” process that is extremely user friendly. We do have a recording of a one hour webinar that covers every aspect of how to use the mynoah App (30 min) and Community Website (30 min) which you can save to view as often as you like. It is also possible to email the webinar recording to all your players, coaches, parents, etc….. so that all will quickly learn everything they need to know about using the Noah system. We provide ongoing email and phone support for all Noah customers. We also have webinars to explain the Noah concept and why you will shoot a higher percentage at 45° and 11” deep.
Q: Will it work on three point shots or just free throws?
A: Noah will track all shots from the free throw and beyond including mid range jump shots and all three point shots, including high school, college, and NBA.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: The investment for the Noah Instant is $4,599 plus a $99 shipping charge to ship anywhere in the continental U.S.
Q: Is the Noah Free Shooting Clinic really free?
A: Yes, there is no cost and no obligation for hosting a Noah Free Shooting Clinic in your gym, with your players, if you are in a territory where we either have a rep, or our National Sales Manager, Rick Turk is developing that market.
